Contract
By completing and submitting an on-line order form or proceeding through the 'checkout process', you are making an offer to purchase goods which, if accepted by me, will result in a binding contract. Neither submission by you of an on-line order form nor completion of the checkout process constitute an acceptance by me of your order. You will be sent an acceptance of your order by e-mail. If for any reason I cannot accept your order, I will notify you as soon as possible by e-mail and refund in full any money paid by you the customer
How do I make a payment?
Payment on-line is taken through Paypal – this is a secure on-line payment system. Once directed to the Paypal site you will be asked to pay either by credit card, debit card or, if you have one, through your own Paypal account.
If you have requested an individual quotation, you will be sent an email invoice generated by Paypal. There are a number of payment options on the invoice but the direct link to Paypal on the email is the quickest. Alternatively you can request an invoice by post
If you would prefer to pay by cheque, this is acceptable but will delay the dispatch time. To pay by cheque, please place your order by e-mail through the contact form. Once the order is accepted, an invoice will be e-mailed to you and you will be given details of payment by cheque

Delivery
How much will postage cost?
Postage to the UK is included in the price. Please place your order via the contact form for orders outside the UK; a price and timescale will be quoted individually.
How Long will my order take to arrive?
Prints are usually produced on demand so dispatch times will vary. For delivery within the UK, please allow between 14 and 21 days for your print and 17 and 24 days if a mount is required. If you do not require the work to be signed deduct 3 days from the total time (specify when ordering). In the event of any unforseen delay, I will advise you as soon as possible. Please state when ordering if you have a specific delivery deadline in mind, for example, if you are buying an item as a birthday gift.

Returns and Cancelation Policy.
I wish you to be happy with your chosen original art work. If you are unhappy with your purchase, I agree, in line with distance selling regulations, to provide a full refund if you cancel your order within seven days of receipt of the goods. You may telephone a cancelation but must also confirm it in writing using the contact form on this website. As soon as you have cancelled, you must take good care of the goods and send them back, within seven days, at your expense, and in good condition (but not necessarily in the same packaging). In the unlikely event that the goods you received were damaged, you will be given a full refund including the return delivery costs.
Unfortunately, the above conditions do not apply to orders for Giclée Prints, which are produced on demand to your specifications.Once your order has been received and a print instruction has been given, costs will be incurred by me and, therefore, a full refund will not be possible. If, however, you do wish to cancel your print order after it has been processed by me, please contact me as soon as possible (tel: 07834529675) and confirm your cancelation in writing (using the contact form on this website) and a discretionary refund up to the full amount may be possible.
Where a refund is due to you, it will be paid up to 30 days after cancelation.

What is a Limited Edition Giclée print?
Limited edition Giclée prints are signed archival prints created by the Giclée printing process which uses archival quality, pigment ink and paper (Somerset Velvet Enhanced, unless requested otherwise) both designed to produce long lasting prints. The artist, Lynda Docherty, personally inspects each print before signing it in pencil, alongside the edition number and the size of the print run.
Your print will be printed using Fine Art Trade Guild approved equipment, inks and paper. The logo of the Fine Art Trade Guild will be printed at the bottom of your print. Note, that if different paper options are chosen, this logo may not be included even though the inks and process used are the same. The Giclée process uses light fast, pigmented inks; the resulting prints are brighter, the colour's last longer and are higher in resolution - meaning sharper prints.
Limited Edition
The number of print editions per artwork will be limited to 125, where 50 prints will be reserved for cards. This limit applies to all prints advertised on this website unless specifically stated otherwise (for example, as new work is added). The limit will not apply to the use of my images, in whole or in part, by me or my agents, for promotion purposes.

How do I order a print with a size or finish not listed on the website?
If you like the prints but would prefer a different size or finish, please contact me by e-mail with your requirements and I will provide, where possible, an individual quotation. Once you have agreed a price, an invoice will be generated including payment options. Once payment has been received, your order will be processed.
Data Protection
I do not pass or sell on your details to any third parties for any reason. Your name, address, e-mail address and purchase records are kept by me for business purposes only. Occasionally I may send an e-mail outlining new work or offers. If you do not wish to receive this, please let me know.
